What is NMRA-DCC

NMRA-DCC is a standard that defines the data transfer from the command station to the decoders. Two conductors (rails) carry both power supply and commands. These standards were established by the American organization "NMRA". Foundation was the old Lenz protocol, but NMRA went beyond that.
Many manufaturers sell decoders and/or command stations for this standard (Lenz, digitrax, Uhlenbrock, ZIMO and many others).
