Booster
In the early days of DCC at FREMO there were a few DIY projects
for boosters. They are more or less obsoleted by todays
commercial products. For history or amusement:
- SpaXbooster
A simple booster, operated with a powerful model railroad transformer,
intended to be installed directly under a module.
-
Frankenbooster (from web archive)
This is two boosters with transformer in a handy case. (New version available now!)
Dekoder
Also FREMO decoder projects are obsoleted by todays ever smaller and more
powerful commercial products:
System-Tools and other stuff
What you need, if you want to do more than running your trains in a small circle...
- RSCLD - Railsync Current Limiting
Device
Makes a railsync-booster out of a normal booster.
- Single - the original version
- 6 in one is sufficient even vor larger meetings
-
DCC Polarity Checker from Gerald Klein - For verification that
two adjacent boosters are in phase.
