On this page you find FREMO do it yourself projects with the input bus Loconet^®. This should not be confused with the cabling that is inapropriatly called 'Loconet' by many FREMO members - Loconet is only one of the systems that use this cabling.

• FRED (FRemos Einfacher Drehregler = FREMOs easy throttle)
  A handheld throttle like the utility throttles from Digitrax, but more handy and easier to use, especially for people, who are used to the old analog FREMO-throttles.
• FREDI
  Second generation FRED. A complete redesign in the traditional case.

• MS-SH - Loconet Computer-Interface
  Similar to Digitrax MS-100, but optoisolated and with hardware-CD.
• Loconet Monitor
  This software helped a lot in throttle development.
• LocoNet over TCP
  In this project we develop PC software that talks to LocoNet.

• Fast clock using Loconet (German introduction; more later)
• Loconet Pull-Up
  A fix for slow slopes - only for extremly huge layouts.
• Embedded LocoNet
  In this project we develop embedded hardware and software based on Atmel AVR microcontrollers
